I managed to dig up on old project of mine, Safeside Cipher 2.0 Alpha
To run as is, simply execute the script 'SS_interface.py' or SSgui for a user-friendlier interface.. To incorporate into an existing project merely import SS and use
"SS.SafeSide2().encrypt(key,<your string>)" in place of a string.
I also made two user friendly interfaces, one GUI and one CLI but due to the post size limit you'll have to grab them from my site here
I'd appreciate the visit anyway, I just came back online after many years, Google hasn't even indexed me yet.
Bing has, but only the homepage.
Anyway, with regards to the file, this should be a great choice for a beginner python programmer, as it’s short, and I haven’t used too many advanced features.
The GUI was made in glade, but you won’t need it if you’re okay with using the command line interface (it's on my site, linked above, with the GUI), or directly from python or IDLE.
I had to remove the code, firewall wasn't letting me post it grab them from my site here
Thank you for your time.
I probably shared this here many many years ago from my old account, but it's been gone for years :'(
This thread was supposed to contain all the code.
I wasn't trying to force traffic to my site (as much as I appreciate it) it's not set up properly yet.
I just got blocked by hackforums firewall until I removed the code.
I hope people are still willing to check it out. It should be useful without needing to understand it, and a good demo for those who are willing to give it a read, the main class is nice and short.
