Alright, so I have a job and tomorrow I have an interview with my boss for the same job just permanent. There's no way I'm not getting it, the position was opened to be filled by me, but she's interviewing some other people as it's standard operating protocol. It's going to be a phone interview, which is funny as we'll most likely be sitting next to one another in the office.
I know it's strange to want to impress my boss for a job I am guaranteed to get, but I LOVE this job, I care for the people I work with, and I really want to continue to make a great impression. I really want to drive home to her that hiring me and making me permanent will not be a mistake, but an improvement on previous employees she's had.
What are some ideas you guys got to help me out?

Most important suggestion, be yourself act normal you love your job 👍
Good luck let us know how it goes
Eye contact, general confidence and ask all/any questions you have.
Don't ever leave thinking you could of done or said more.. be bold and enthusiastic :)
If I feel like they don't like what they heard, I always build the courage to ask how the interview could've gone better.
What they say doesn't matter.
How they say it tells a lot tho.
Never hesitate. You'll always regret not going for it.
Oh another tip..Don't do what my brother did.
It was him and just the interviewer in the room, no one else.
My bro tried to hold in a fart but slowly and squeakily it let it out.. Obviously being award there was only the interviewer in the room he must know it wasn't him so my bro got up, shook his hand and said thanks anyways and walked out hahaha

I could imagine the laugh I'll have if someone tells me this story in real life or even it will be better if i was with him in that interview i wouldn't be able to stop laughing
Look up the STAR method. It’s used on 99% of non-technical interviews.

Fcuk things up with your CONFIDENCE!!!
Trust me, the job would be yours permanently. Good Luck!!✌
Physical presentation sets the foundation for an interview. So, look good and smell good. Everything else follows after.
I think confidence is the key, If you don't have confidence, it won't go any further.

i kind of agree and disagree, you can't say on everything if gods want it to happen it will happen i think that god gave us a brain for a reason, suppose going to an exam without studying and saying if god wants me to pass it i'll pass it i think you should do your part and them you can put it in god hands

Look good, smell good, and act confident. But Don't start acting like you are some kind of CEO, balance your attitude.
Just an update to this thread, I had my interview with my boss and her boss (who I've never had the opportunity to speak with). I just told them my background, what I wanted to learn with the company, what I'd already learned, and why I wanted to work there.
It all came out like a faucet. I've been so appreciative of these people I couldn't NOT tell them. I told them straight up that while I went to school to be an archaeologist, I found what I wanted to do with my life in that company. Due to company policy, they have to interview others, those interviews take place on Monday, there's two. I was told that while they can't promise me 100% that the job is mine, that I am probably going to get it. So let's pray that the other two don't seem like better employees than I've made myself out to be. I've put a lot of hard work into this company and despite having a tooth ache, I've even rescheduled my dentist appointment this week so I can be there when the decision is made.
