So one of my favorite games is Olympus Altus Life, a server on Arma 3. It’s similar to GTA, but it’s an RP server. For example, you have to initiate before killing someone by saying “Hands up or die” waiting 5 seconds and shooting based on if they put their hands up or not.

Super awesome game. Would recommend it to anyone. Sometimes people break the rules but it’s never that big of a deal. The server has their own forum for ban requests and ban appeals.

There’s this one gang on the server “Silla” & I think they have relationships with the admins making them even stronger. They have like 12 guys in their gang and when one is online, most of the time they are all online. They take over the server practically & either kill everyone or rob them. Pretty annoying considering it’s a small server with probably close to only 1000 active players. Unless you have a group of 8, you can’t get these guys. And it’s hard to convince 8 friends to get arma3 and play with you.

If anyone knows them or plays Olympus Life I know you can relate to this thread.

Server is 100% AMAZING though when they’re not online. One of my favorite video games. Super unforgiving & hard to get the hang of. But that’s what makes it awesome.

Have Arma 3 but never played multiplayer. I can't imagine an Arma 3 RP what's it like?

Altis Life is where it's at, imo ARMA Life ruins the atmosphere with all the custom mods & 20 GB prerequisites.
I think Altis Life is dead nowadays though, mostly french servers and if u find a good server, u get fucked up kids calling u to support on discord/teamspeak every time u get a kill. Impossible to play nowadays, and if u do, have shadowplay on 24/7 and be prepared to hop on support channels every hour or so.

But if you get a good team to play with, you'll easy get 1K+ hours. I'm waiting for ARMA 4 and hoping Altis Life will be revived like in the old days.

Whats the difference between Arma Life and Altis Life? I've only ever seen 2 servers that have the concept: Olympus & Asylum. I'd be down to try a french server if it meant better gameplay.
