So I have control over a public wifi hotspot broadcast by a generic DSL router into a business. It sees a decent bit of public use, and has no set password (nor do I intend to add one).
What are my best options for capturing all traffic? Would Wireshark be best, even on a Windows system? Or does anyone make a device I can use to physically attach to the modem and literally copy all traffic over the physical line? Can I replace the router with one that has a built in option to capture all data and forward it?
