In the past, I posted on HF about how disappointing Halo MCC was on Xbox, but since it's been added to PC a couple years ago, it has received a lot of good updates, so I have to sing its praises here at least once. Even if you aren't a H3 multiplayer junkie like me and prefer a chill single-player or co-op experience, the CE, 2, 3 and Reach campaigns are fun to play too. There's also a custom game browser to host and join casual custom matches, as opposed to competitive matchmaking.

It frequently goes on sale for 50% off and is currently on sale until tomorrow for $16. Halo MCC still has its faults, but if you were a Halo fan in the past, haven't played Halo but are interested, or just want to add to your game collection, this game is highly recommended. To those of you who already own and play it, and those who will be joining us soon: I salute you and will see you on the virtual battlefield.

AW I missed the sale! I also missed the HALO episode this past Thursday on Paramount+. FAIL. I guess i'm about to watch it now though. Thanks!

I agree bro. I’ve grabbed it a couple months ago when it went on sale and I fell back in love with the series again. Definitely a great purchase.

I may have to make this purchase i have not played halo for years but it was for sure one of my favorites growing up, would be fun to play again after all this time

I picked up the MCC when it came out mainly because Halo is my favorite FPS series and I enjoy the story and campaigns. Haven't played any of MCC in a while though. Been playing Infinite multiplayer a little here and there and having a blast with that.

Been playing since 07 when Halo 3 came out. Its fun but people in multiplayer are so toxic it ruins it for me. I usually just chill in the custom game browser on jump maps lol.

The customs browser is bangin, the jump maps and H2 FFAs made me come back to mcc.

It was an absolute shit show when it released, but what it has become since then is definitely great. So many improvements, additions, and still to this day has support from the devs. I do think after this year all of that for the most part will slow down or even come to a halt for certain things, but the majority of what the game could ever offer is already there so not a huge deal. Once we know for certain when coop for the infinite campaign will release, I'll probably run through a couple of the campaigns on the older games first and try to get some friends to join me.
