What book has changed your perspective on the world?

Any kind of book for any reason. I am big into philosophy and self-help books (because I'm a basket case) and really any other genre in general. My most recent perspective altering book has to be Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. Extremely good novel about a mans journey to find enlightenment.

I don't have one specific one, in fact, each book carries a message that can influence the views of the recipient. I could mention many that influenced mine, such as G Orwell Animal Farm or A. Pilipiuk's Resurrection Day Operation.

Like, the Nirvana song? Or 'Perfume', the book that the song is about?

Probably the Orwell books when I was a teenager. There are actually lots of books that changed my perspective if I stopped and thought about it for awhile.

Well, being a former subscriber of the Ideology, it changed my perspective greatly. Reading all of Kaczynski's work aided that. I mean, obviously I have matured enough to afford my own developed understanding of technology and the dangers as well as benefits that come with it.
