Hi mates,

Is there a mean to make mock gps undetectable for other app?
I can spoof gps with some app on play store but it seems to be detcted maybe cause it is config as Mock.

If you got free way it will be appreciate but i am in need of paid way too.

From what I understand there are 2 main GPS API's used for android on getting the location of the device, give location services are enabled.


1:"android.location"
2:"com.google.android.gms.location"

These are completely different API's but both can be used to get the GPS location of a android device.


You can easily change/edit/lock/mock your GPS location of device using the "android.location" API as it has the
void setLatitude(double latitude)
void setLongitude(double longitude),
functions allowing you to do so.

However if the app or service is using the "com.google.android.gms.location" API
rather than "android.location" then
setting/editing/locking/mocking your GPS with setLatitude/setLongitude from the "android.location" API is pointless as the app is getting the GPS from a completely different way.

Also possible the app or service is using a custom shell binary file for getting the GPS and not using either of the 2 API's though this is unlikely.
