https://www.netflix.com/title/81265493
Basically in this show, they take people who aren’t even able to take care of themselves (live with parents), and convince them that they need love (a relationship). They seem pretty unsure most of the time.
But also, maybe I’m a bad person, but the way it is edited and filmed seems very intentionally comedic in nature.
Anyone else seen this? Maybe someone else has a totally different perspective on it.

Have you seen actual episodes and more than just those trailers? I don't have Netflix.
But anyway I watched the two trailers you linked to and I started crying at the end of the second one where the groom was speaking at his wedding.

Yeah I’ve watched a few episodes. Not just the trailers. Some of them are less autistic than others.

Uh......I imagine they are all "autistic" they are "Love on the Spectrum." Just watching the trailers I found empowering seeing so many different people who spoke like the kids at the special school where my youngest child goes because my youngest is autistic.

Ok so then it’s only because I’m a bad person. Maybe they’re not making fun of anyone.

Well most good reality TV has comedic editing but if they have tender and beautiful moments in there then having some funny moments doesn't mean it's simply making fun of them. Anyway telling a whole lot of stories like that even if there's a slight tinge of disrespect in the editing is still probably better than not telling all those stories. It's quite cool to see literally every character being a different autistic person. They do talk in a way that stands out to neurotypical people unfortunately. They all sounded kind of the same on there in the way they talk but their stories will be different.
Wish I could watch it, although maybe it would be too much for me since I literally cried for a moment when the groom was giving his wedding speech about his bride at the end of second trailer.
These people are also much more likely to take marriage seriously than your average bozo neurotypical many of whom imagines the grass is always greener. These people will commit to a real marriage. It's going to be more satisfying reality TV about dating than your average show where you'll read in a magazine or online that the bachelorette dumped the dude who won within two months.
Living with their parents in this day and age doesn't mean for sure they can't care for themselves. They're more likely to have minimum wage jobs and just not be able to afford rent and can use the support to avoid people who might harm them because of misunderstanding them.

That's too bad, they should absolutely make fun of retarded people. That would be hilarious.
I am often marketed things on snapchat stories that basically say "celebrate differences" or "you won't BELIEVE why they made fun of him", only to put the goofiest looking retarded person on the thumbnail. It's pretty funny.

Very interesting take. A part of me agrees completely.

If you think I was just being some kind of sentimental, virtue signaling liberal in this thread maybe think again and remember that people have families.
