Let's hear you GDI-nutjobs 2 cents on this :)

Disclaimer, I've close to zero experience on anything GUI related.

Introduction

CS:GO (the fps game) is highly dependent on third party services for anyone remotely competitive or wanting a more proper way to play the game so their respective ELO-ratings are big indicators (well it was more accurate before but w/e) as to how good a player is and something you'd want to be able to show as a streamer. There are widely popular chat-commands which can fulfill this but not only does it clutter the chat but a visual display not only avoids that, removes the question altogether and also gives the stream an unique flair. The 1 (or 2, can't remember) GitHub project I found solving this looked fugly af and contained way more stats than I wanted so I made my own.

My ghetto solution

I made an application making queries to the most used pug-services in the Nordic region (FaceIt & esportal, first one to include the latter I believe) and display the level + ELO in different labels with adjustable fore- & back-colors, size, position etc. To my dismay (due to my graphical inexperience) it wouldn't be as easy as setting the transparency-key and background of the form the same. What I do in the latest version of the project is separating settings and what I want to displayed on the stream into 2 forms then letting the user choose a background-color to later chroma-key out in OBS (preferably one with good contrast to labels colors). The end product (in OBS) is decent but definitely feels janky. Current solution can be seen in spoiler below.

The question

I realize I don't stream that much as in solving the issue was more personally rewarding than the solution. Not even mentioning that you will unavoidably lose out on certain color-schemes due to how "chroma-keying"(green-screen) works but it's also a bit of an hassle to set up the first time. Even most of the cracked out teens grinding 15hrs a day who might find this interesting to have, have minimal computer-skills and will be put off by the work involved. It also feels dog to present something with so little "ease of use". Is there anything I can do to avoid having to use filters in OBS and achieve the same/better result?
That’s cool I have made something similar in the past
