I have been playing Diablo Immortal on mobile and now a bit on my PC.

So far it has been a love - hate relationship but loving it.


How do the lovely people of Hackforums feel about it.

Its fun. I will say is a bit pay to win.

But I play on mobile and pc depending on if I'm home or not.

I think the mobile version is easier to play but pc is just as fun.

But pay to win it can be very much so but you can progress without it decently. I spent about 30 or so to speed it up a bit.

I’m currently paragon 9. It’s easy enough to progress if you put the time in.

And can definitely enjoy late game content, but you will be out played by whales on the game. Especially if you are looking to rank high on the leaderboards for elder and challenge rifts.

Other than that my experience has been great so far.

Pay to win Diablo, super cool to see one of my all time favorite franchises go down this path! Is anyone surprised that Blizzard made it so grossly cost ineffective for players to advance in their shitty, mobile disappointment?

I can agree progression is slow unless you spend a bit of money, but its still fun either way.

Many are complaining about the pay 2 win being so high and insanely blatant, i can agree with this but that being said so many games have gone this route like it or not this is becoming more and more common. Sadly

A few gripes for the Desktop Version its playable but with small flaws, frame rate issues unless on low settings i am running a very high frame rate but lag happens randomly for no reason.

Disconnections on the Desktop version over very minimal issues when using my phone to play.

This being said my desktop is very far from low end and far above mid-range specs so these issues can be annoying for sure even with 1GBIT Down and 40 UP.

So far i haven't figured out the issue other than random annoyances with battle net.


--Still love this game but it does have quirks hopefully they will fix them as the pc version is a direct port of mobile with keyboard input added in a very shoddy manner, the controller works flawlessly though--

Its not the best if you are the ultra competitive type with a budget. But as a game its amazing I love it

I can say depending on how long RPG and the MMORPG as a whole has been at a steady decline in terms of fun vs pay to win concepts now days but they have good and bad.

Lets use this topic as a whole i loved playing Diablo Immortal until i got to max tier status in the game it ended up sucking badly so i stopped playing due to pay to win and just another annoyances i am picky i guess.

The game is fun but like all games they change or loss player base.

Going off the minecraft first? It's still fun but many privately ran servers are even more fun kinda like other mods or plugins my favorite is called Towny Mod? awesome eco plugin when done right. Still play minecraft played it on and off since it came out even moved my mojang account to microsoft when they bought them out.

Another game elder scrolls? well Elder scrolls online is okay for the most part? i perfer the older single player versions of elder scrolls plugins, mods etc.

another fun game is terriana and starbound.

I’m a paragon 60 necromancer and having fun. I do spend a little bit of money here and there.

agreed, i stopped playing and went back to playing another game.

I was loving the game then had gotten bored the p2w concepts are there but playable using minimal amounts of money.
