After having a long discussion with fellow member [mention=420] , we would like to suggest possibly adding a Buy-it Now! option for lotteries like most auctions have!
This will be a useful feature to add, as a lot of site marketplace purchases like groups always have a buy-it now option. The same for lotteries would be interesting for those big bytes spenders.
Again it could be an OPTION for the host of the lottery so they do not have to wait a full day or week for a egg lottery.
Thank you for reading my suggestion.
I'd suggest revisting this idea in your discussions, or include someone outside of your echo chamber.
Veto.

What is wrong with having the option to buy something immediately? This is America after all. If a high roller wants to walk in and buy all the lottery items that have a BIN price then there is nothing wrong with this. It is peak capitalism.

I don't see any issues with the way the Lotteries are set up now.

I think this is a nice idea, however, I'm afraid that it could discourage people from participating in the lottery. Why?
Imagine that 5 users buy a ticket for a lottery worth 10 bytes. Suddenly comes someone who chooses the "Buy Now" option and I offer a price in a height of 200 bytes. When the purchase is completed, those 5 people are left without bytes and a chance to win an egg (I assume that in the case of an instant purchase of eggs, other people taking part in the lottery will not get a refund of their bytes).
In this case, in order for such a function to work quite honestly a person creating a lottery would have to determine their price for an egg but it would also make people instead of buying tickets simply to buy them right away and this in my opinion completely disturbs the concept of lottery😅

It could work, I don’t think it’s mandatory though.
LoL so you can't just wait 1 day for your egg to sell .. Buy it now it's not Ebay your on !
I think the lottery is fine the way it is plus egg drop is poor and the HUM game is done nobody plays hardly 3 pages we used to have 18 pages
Now look at it .
Buy it now for an egg heard it all now crazy idea

The whole point is a lot of auctions, not only eBay have a Buy-it Now feature.
So playing a fake pokemon type game isn't crazy to you but having an auction to buy stuff immediately is.
Nice.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with suggesting this. Like mentioned previously it is peak capitalism. If someone wants to come in and buy something outright, they can.

HUM is dead just like the other games like the hack game . All your looking for is a quick sale i don't see any benefit just wait the 1 day
Buy it now have you actually looked at the price off the lotterys when they have finished there making hardly any bytes
Go back a year or so then yeah big money for blues and golds would do 50,000 bytes plus , Then i would say your idea is not to bad
But not now the game is dead and there's hardly any eggs being dropped
If you had mentioned this when HUM had started it could have been a good idea but not now i'm afraid 😥

[...] I think you and Sox boy are conflating an auction with a lottery. The existing feature isn't an auction, it's a lottery.
Regardless, if the BIN feature was opt-in for the creator, I don't see an issue with it.

Yes, it would be an option for the seller. House can take an increased cut for a BIN purchase.
If eBay has this feature, I don't see why not.

I am in full support of OP's idea, who likes to wait these days.
I'll add it to Projects list but it may never get done. Very low priority.
