You can also look on coingecko.com for a list of exchanges that support XMR.
You could also use the Currency Exchange section on here to try and gain some XMR.
Staff will never reach out to you off-site. We only communicate on HF.
Just use tradeogre.com, easy of use with no KYC. Just make sure to withdraw the xmr to your local wallet. <- But this is something you always have to do with any exchange.
From bread and water to lobster and wine
Kucoin is the easiest way.
You can always just swap it on Exodus if needed.

Exodus locked 5k of LTC for over 2 months during an exchange to XMR and exodus support is trash.

Your funds? You doing $5k exchange with Exodus? WTF are you doing? That's a huge mistake. Not only because of getting KYC'd (which they can do) but because of their very high fees.

Suggest a better swap method even if you have to break it up into $1k's.

As for OP's question on where to get XMR. Depends on what you're obtaining it with. Credit card? Bank Debit? Crypto swap?

Lots of ways to get XMR. One of the simplest is to just use a swap site. Exchange whatever crypto you have for XMR and pay maybe 1% or less in fee.

Yeah it was a quick exchange i needed the XMR to pay someone and didn't really care for the fees but the time they held my money was painful enough.

Exodus fees are crazy high and they can kyc yeah they suck.
Kucoin Exchange supports XMR
