Hello:
I am at present needing 2 different scripts built as follows:
1) a php script that will score the test submitted instead of relying on ExamView's CGI script
2) a php script to pull the answers out of a supplied html web test
[More Details on ExamView Scoring Script] I use ancient ExamView test generator software (version 8.0 for windows) and would like to use the export to HTML test feature without needing to send any data off to Examview's servers thus allowing me to run the web tests completely on my intranet with no fuss.
when a web test is submitted, the results are sent to score.examview.com and processed by a CGI script called results.cgi. if the web test is configured to do so, the student will see his/her score and possibly other features
the examview script emails the instructor with the score
My objectives with this script are:
1) be able to use all exam view web test features on my internal web servers (either by straight JavaScript where possible or PHP when needed)
2) be able to simply turn off the email features (e.g. email to instructor the results, email to student, etc.) from within the script thus if I don't have a mail server set up in my environment the script isn't trying to do so
[More Information in relation to ExamView Answer Retriever] needs to be PHP 5, or JavaScript based
needs to allow the user to input the URL of the web test html file and pull the answers accordingly

To help meet these goals, I have created a mega share folder containing the ExamView 8 software for windows, a sample web test with multiple question types that are automatically scored, a PDF version of the same test with answers for testing purposes, and the ExamView files needed to build/modify the included sample web test (in the event I goofed on the answers)
The subject of the test is my favorite cartoon of all time: Winx Club as I know it well enough to make a relatively detailed test on it.
Since I cannot share the link directly, please just remove the space after the //

Thanks for any advice given on this matter any assistance in this matter would be very much appreciated.
Update 2022.08.14 @ 20:02 PDT: Well, I had what some would call a "lightbulb moment". ExamView has a student application called "Test Player" to allow students to take the tests on a LAN; My thought was "What is we could leverage the Test Player on computers not on the school's LAN?" After a bit of testing in a VMWare Lab, I found that the ExamView LAN Test capabilities don't actually need to be on an actual LAN. With a little bit of file renaming trickery, and use of the "TestManager" app that comes with ExamView, auto-grading is possible! It's a bit of what we call "Hinkery Dinkery Dock", but which would I rather Have: 1) Spend 2+ hours hand-grading tests, 2) rely on web tests (e.g. if ExamView decided tomorrow to take down the web test scoring scripts tomorrow; all my current and future web tests would be sunk), or 3) spend maybe an hour doing all the renaming and other nonsense to get the ExamView TestPlayer and TestManager to play nicely over the internet? I think I'd personally choose option 3.
I've created a quick guide on how to do this in Adobe PDF Format and made it available on my Mega Cloud.

if anyone's got any better suggestions for making this process more seamless, feel free to post them in the comments. I'm further looking for the above mentioned web scripts for a more "straightforward solution"
