I bought a guide from a user and we did not open a contract. I was not familiar with contracts and how they worked - haven't used HF in many years.

He was incredibly misleading and the guide was terrible. He offered me a 70% refund if I would remove my negative comment on his thread. I did not so he blocked me and got the comment removed.

Can I not dispute or post about it since we did not have a contract?

No you cannot dispute without a contract. All deals on HF need to have a contract associated with them.

This has been a sticky thread for many years now. Unfortunately you are out of luck because you failed to follow site policies.

I wonder why I get all these fucking contacts about members who get scammed on Discord saying "I got scammed by an HF member, here is proof", and they have a screenshot of Discord.  Do they contact Discord Staff and Moderators since that's where they did the deal? 

1. Do not do deals on Discord.
2. Use HF Contracts when dealing with HF members.
3. If you get scammed on Discord, fuck off.
