Nmap scanning forgot to hide

Hi, did an nmap scan on a server, forgot to use proxychains or hide myself in anyway, can i be detected in anyway? Could my io have been logged anywhere in the server i scanned?
umm...absolutely.
depending on the server you were scanning as far as risk comes into play but..yea. could have been logged for sure

every click on the site is logged any request going in/out is logged with exact date ( month/day/hour ) and you can do nothing unless you hacked into it then you can delete your logs
That being said if you DIDN'T hack into it or raise any alarms it will most likely go unnoticed...depending on the site and how aggressive you were.

Yeah i really didn't do anything else, nor
I intend to. But i am curious, how these things work, let’s say somebody where to hack that person to gather information, these person uses obvious proxies, maybe in the hacking for information process, they raise some alarms, the target hires somebody to check there cybersecurity, would the cybersecurity person, check the logs and read that close to the timeline of the actual attack i, which he will realize used proxychains, there is an nmap scan (the one i did) and maybe think “this ip address which is from here is probably the same person that hacked the server” or are nmap scans not a common place where they would pay much attention to?

My opinion? There won't be a criminal report filed over one scan. IT teams are focused on keeping the bad guys out, not going over every detail of server logs. Also, law enforcement wants to know what the damages were in cybercrime cases.
Nothing is gonna happen, they get tons of port scans, ssh bruteforce attempts et al., daily, so...
Like other people have mentioned, nothing is going to happen to you, but yes your IP was most likely logged somewhere.
They won't care to investigate. Shids happen, sometimes we all leave traces behind, accidentally the wrong file, wipe wrong usb etc lol.
Perfect, thanks for the help!
