My late husband won $666 once. A friend of mine won $10,000 on a scratchie. But I feel like she kind of wasted it by buying a car then selling her car to go to Australia where she just worked at Burger King and then came back. lol Then she regreted selling the nice car. That's the problem with selling all your nice stuff to travel. My son did that too. Sold all his nice things he bought with a small inheritance to go travel and then ended up with nothing.

I got addicted to gambling back in 2018 found myself scrounging the house for nickels and dimes to buy a scratcher or a lotto max ticket. never won but I was able to get over it after a while

Most I've one was on Keno, $150 and got some weird looks from the cashier as she didn't believe I was old enough

I think I've done it once in my life many years ago when the jackpot was absolutely massive, but aside from that I just don't see the point. Would rather put that money into something that can grow instead of a long shot one off chance.
