How to find like minded people online?

I have different places I go to online, like here for general hanging out or between work stuff, Reddit for my interests and to share ideas/tips on projects, and YouTube for inspiration or entertainment etc. I want to do more than just these sites though, and branch out and virtually meet more people with similar mindsets. Anyone got any ideas?

Well of course the first option is here on HF, the group scene is great, i personally love Pink and all the members.

I suppose it depends what the mindset is? You can find sites for just about any interest (who knew that foot fetishists were so ubiquitous, for example).

Make posts like this one on those sites. HF has a HUGE variety of people here.

Don't fall for a scam, use a middleman!

Just search for things you're into and you'll find people that share the same interests or make post about what your into.

There are a few ways to find like minded people online. The first way is to use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. On these platforms, you can search for groups or pages that are related to the things you're interested in. This is a great way to find people who share your interests
Hackforums, Video games, discord

Discord is supposedly great for this, can't say I use it all that much. Check out the HF discord, there's usually some pretty cool peeps there.

A forum like this for a subject you're interested in or a thing, although maybe not as much today as they're more dead

but reddit is a good place also since if got a bunch of subreddits for virtually anything, except i don't really think you 'meet' or 'talk' to people there

I think discord would be your best bet atm, since there is servers for anything and many for each thing so you have a lot to go around about
I swear some of those dating apps also cater for friends finding via mutual interests.. prob that?

HF Groups are also a pretty solid way too. Met a good bunch of HQ like minded people alone.

Social media sites are best for finding like-minded people.
I believe you can go to Facebook and find groups regarding your interests. That should work best.
I will NEVER DM you first on Telegram/Discord

Always confirm you are talking with me on site using PM. Always use contract. I do not do currency exchange/gift cards/AGC.
Some great ideas and responses here guys, thanks!

I think there's no right or wrong answer, as long as you join communities and forums that interest you, you'll probably find like minded people... Just gotta keep searching and exploring until you've had enough

I stopped making friends online years ago, however.
