Hi HF,
I have a website where I am selling a service (Physical product), am I allowed to put the name of the website in my Custom User Title?
Most people already do, I don't see the issue?

I would take a guess to say it's fine as long as it's not a competing website. A site with support for a product or service should be fine as long as the contract is made here on HF.
Nice to meet ya.

I agree. I've had mine in my title for awhile, no issues..

So there has been no issue with you having your own website on the title? I would assume, as long as it is not competing with HF, then it will be alright.

Yeah, I've also been approved for vendor, so I'm confident Admin has seen it, and well, took no action. My website is not a competing product of HF.
I'm pretty sure as long as you're a V3ndor you're able to link your website anywhere in terms of profile, Marketplace, or a sticky/featured forum post.
I've seen countless members link their websites in their motto, however I've never seen any rules against it. I think it might fall into the same category of V3ndor offsite linking rules. Don't quote me on this though.
bugga told me I'm a cutie

Isn't Vendor a usergroup specifically made for the HF marketplace though? I believe Admin once mentioned that.
I have seen many Ubers and leet with websites in their usertitle as well.
If you're Vendor you're good, if not then it depends on what site you are advertising. If you're not a Vendor and your site is for selling, that's going to be a policy violation. I catch you, then you're screwed.

Thank you, as I’m vendor, I’m happy to be on the safe side.
