I'm pretty new in terms of researching crypto and I was wondering, are ICOs a complete gamble? If not what are some promising ones that you guys have seen?

Look at ENS, UNISWAP, 1INCH, Gitcoin and more.

I'm not saying ICOs don't exists, they are not mainstream.

ICO's were a 2018 type of thing. New minting of NFT's seem to be the latest trend for quick buck if you can pick the right project. However that's dying down with the rest of the market.

If you're new I got one solid suggestion for you.

Buy Bitcoin, hold, and STFU.
