So my grandmom has been living alone for 23years sinde my grand dad died. yesterday her dog died that was basicly here everything so today i went to here and she was crying and stuff that shit really really hurted me, but we planning to get her a new pup tomorrow so she can have a new buddy, was really weird to see her cry the last time was when my grandad died, weird day today

Sorry bud, I know how it can be to lose a loved one and especially a family pet. It’s hard I hope she’s okay and you should really spend all the time you can with her cause it means so much to her and one day you won’t be able to. Family first man.

Deaths are specially hard to handle for elderly people. Im glad she has family members who care for her.

A new pup will definitely cheer her up but I think that she'll love family members checking up on her every now and then more.

I never really thought that the death itself doesen't hurt me, but rather the part of where i miss my dog.

She was always happy when i came home from school/work and she always checked on me before she went to sleep. Whenever my door was closed, she scratched my door or whined telling me to open it. Then when she knew i was alright, she always left and went to sleep.

Good pup, we truly don't deserve dogs.

Ah man I’m so sorry to hear that. One thing I despise about life is our inevitable death but I have to remember to live happily one day at a time.

One thing you can say to her to give her some loving words of encouragement is that no matter what, she gave that dog the best damn life it could’ve ever asked for. The best owner It could’ve asked for and no matter what he’s in dog heaven telling the other dogs how good and loving she was.
