Should I change the New Posts search into a New Threads instead? That would show Marketplace bumps by Stanley and maybe satisfy some of the sellers griefing about the way the new setup is.

It's an idea, I can code it out.

I personally don't view the new posts section, although I should and see why it's useful.
Rather than replacing it, what about adding it on top of the new posts? That way Marketplace bumps will still be shown somewhere, and people who want to post on discussions/other things can still find relevant content without marketplace related things

I don't think you should get rid of the new posts search but adding a new threads search next to new posts would be a great addition.

I agree with having them both. New posts is very useful to see imo and new threads in addition to that would be even better.

New Threads = Only new threads, not new posts.

Either you should keep both or only new posts.

I often use new posts section, I would probably use it more than new threads, but what about keeping both ?

Although I haven't used new posts feature few years ago, now I can't imagine living without it. Please don't remove it :(

I always go and check the new posts button. I would not mind a new threads option as well, but like the current setup

I would suggest either keeping it as is, or implement both together. Would be a nice addition, to be able to sift through threads easier than having to trawl through posts I’m uninterested in viewing to get to something that might.

New posts doesn't show the bumps anymore. Now bumps appear like the thread is posted again. Hence "New Threads" will highlight all the bumps.

I would also be unhappy if new posts section would get changed.

I can see Omni see's the want for both - but im here to also say how much I love the new posts button and wouldn't not like to see that changed. Happy with the new threads addition though.
