I have a more limited knowledge regarding voip/sip/ and phone and computer systems.. so anyway,
I live in a building that has a telecom buzzer system of sorts that has a direct line to each unit via some sort of cat line. This system has not been upgraded to support cellphones.
So my question is, is there any way I buy or create some hardware that using the phone jack in my unit to some how route buzzer ring to my cell phone even when I'm not home?
The target goal is to be able have the buzzer to my unit and route that to my cellphone to accept deliveries, ect.
The upgrade for cellphones on the buzzer telecom itself is unknown on when that will happen, so.
Discuss?
Edit, don't want to pay for a landline service to forward calls
