My question for you is; if the government were hacking me... and changing everything I see on the internet (like hackforums is a version just for me to see) how would I go about finding the real hackforums? Obviously their malware is very sophisticated and even Tor isn't going to do it. They're in my system, all the applications, etc. How can I get to the real world? Will you tell me?

sounds like someone is off their meds. The government doesn't need to hack anything. They pay companies to use software those companies make to get full access to your phones, your laptop and any computer including your modem and router. They can remotely go into anything and get records. they can also get almost anything on you if they want to get it. All they need is a search warrant and have probable cause.
They can reroute you to their fake websites. So, if you go on hf they can make a fake one and have all your internet queries go to theirs instead of the real website.

I agree with this statement. Most high profile hacks against people for example journalist are usually done by a third party.
