We're not on strike yet, but it's looking pretty cool to see that so many of us have said if the studio's don't get their act together and give us what we deserve then the world's getting another writer's strike and who knows, maybe another Doctor Horrible or something.
I might have more time on my hands, WGA's authorized strike. |

Long story short, producers and studios are using not so cool tactics to try to pay writers less and yet keep us working more, what with all the streaming services and such lately. Just because we authorized strike measures though doesn't mean that a strike is going to happen for sure, just that should the producers negotiating on behalf of the studios not want to meet us at a point of fair compensation though then we have the strike option then and there. They know it too though because they're already stockpiling scripts and in some cases preparing for more reality TV since that's not scripted (or at least as scripted to the point of needing any writers). Is there someone who is responsible for all the writers in your state?

Granted, it's technically two unions, an East and West sort of situation but like they work and bargain together for the same people. And it's not all writers, it's mainly script writers in media like streaming, radio, tv, film, all that stuff. Then again, I'm assuming when you say by responsible you mean in terms of securing base rates for contracts and such.
