TLDR HF plugin.

TLDR using chatGPT4 could be a cool implementation for HF.

How it would work, a user can spend bytes to create a TLDR for a threads contents using ChatGPT. The request to ChatGPT would simply be
TLDR this:
```
thread contents here
```
It would be a button at the top of every thread, only one user can click it, once the response is generated it is added as a side note on the thread for people to read.

It would cost let's say 250 bytes and encourage the bytes market.

Here's the TLDR of this thread.

Not sure charging 250 bytes for a TLDR would be useful at all, it better be pretty darn accurate if your suggestion will charge 250 bytes for that, don't want members complaining if it wasn't an accurate TLDR. It kind of defeats the purpose of a forum, I'm not sure having a bunch of threads with TLDRs will cut site activity too. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not against your suggestion, I just don't see the point of it.

It's more of a fun feature that people can throwaway bytes on rather than an actual thing. Even though it will still be helpful.

I would have read the actual version of the thread than what the TLDR is shown in this example tbh.

Personally, I wouldn't use this ever. The longer threads like tutorials etc. are meant to be longer and this won't be useful there. Short posts are anyways short. What kind of threads this TLDR would be useful?

People in the generation have become already quite lazy with all the new tech and everything. Can't wait for the AI powered scrolling feature so that we don't have to scroll manually 😁
I will NEVER DM you first on Telegram/Discord

Always confirm you are talking with me on site using PM. Always use contract. I do not do currency exchange/gift cards/AGC.
I also can't see the logic in this implementation. I can't imagine having to write 1000 words thread and then being too lazy to write another 50 word TLDR and place it on top

Perhaps it could be a personal TLDR which is sent to you by Stanley, but still .. why should I pay anything more than 10 bytes when I can just copy/paste into the original ChatGPT?

Some people can't access chatgpt as well as finding niche ways to collaborate with AI/ML for the sole purpose of keeping with the times and introducing people to use cases.

Saying it like that makes a lot of sense. Just the experience from integrating and playing along with this stuff will help you a lot in the future

Yesterday I was watching CNBC and all they talked about was the "AI boom". NVIDIA is up 103% YoY because they make some chips which turned out to be essential for AI

Not sure if threads have enough content nowadays to make TLDR effective, imo. It would be heavily hit or miss. However, your idea would be great for blogs. Blogs tend to be lengthy and a bit more structured. A tl;dr would potentially work well.

Blog: https://hackforums.net/blog/Cplusplus-scanfile-for-ipv4
Quote:TL;DR: This blog provides a guide and a C++ code snippet on how to scan an input file for IPv4 addresses and append these addresses to a new output file. The process involves opening both files, reading each line of the input file, and using a regex pattern to identify and write IPv4 addresses to the output file. Future improvements are planned to allow file names as command prompt inputs and to identify duplicate IPs.

Blog: https://hackforums.net/blog/brief-darkne...eam-market
Quote:TL;DR: This blog post discusses the rise and fall of Dream Market, a prominent darknet marketplace. Established in 2013 after the closure of Silk Road, Dream Market quickly became a significant platform on the Tor network for buying and selling illegal goods. Despite the high security measures, such as two-factor authentication, escrow services, and encrypted communication, it fell under scrutiny of law enforcement. After surviving a massive DDoS attack in 2017, Dream Market was eventually taken down in 2019, with its administrators arrested. The closure highlighted the challenges faced by law enforcement in combating online criminal activity, and the importance of security and trust in online marketplaces, even illegal ones. This case serves as a warning that illegal online activities, even those conducted under the cover of anonymity and encryption, are not beyond the reach of law enforcement.

Which is why this is a no. It's a useless feature that has negative effects.
