Hey all,
Long time member to HF and RS and returning to both to relive some nostalgia. I have made a level three skiller and would love to chat to some of you during the down time...and some tips and tricks would be very helpful too! I can't offer much, but I can impart my knowledge of the many scandals and rogue moderators/admins that have graced these halls in the over 13 years I've spent here.
*Piece of trivia: I was the group leader of 'The Gamers' for many years before it was dissolved due to inactivity and then turned into this forum.

I tried it, but it's just not the same game. I get that they had to release new content. But some of it just doesn't make sense, and I can't wrap my head around why there's items in OSRS that don't exist in RS3. I wish they had another version that was true OSRS. That's fair enough. I just wanted to relive some nostalgia, so I'm skilling as a level 3. I have no intention of doing anything too crazy. If you have any tips or GP to spare to get me going again, let me know :)
Ah wish I could help ya, my only accounts on OSRS were banned for botting years ago.
I personally didn't like returning to OSRS. I liked when they updated the attack mechanism to be more than just swings and stabs on a sword. But RS3 just had very over complicated mechanics every time I tried to return
Man, you never quit Runescape, have been playing since 2007, RSPS, RS3, OSRS, I have played them all, and I do not want to know my actual play time altogether. Probably at least 10.000 hours in 15+ years.
It is VERY different than years past.
Welcome back to both HF and OSRS. I swear that you can’t ever truly quit the latter if you played religiously back in the day lmao. I came back to it and grinded more than ever towards the back end of last year. Have had a ton of fun with it since and am still playing to this day. Not as much in the last month due to Diablo 4 releasing, but I still hop on there and do a little of this and that. I don’t see that changing anytime soon either. How are you enjoying the return to both things so far? What are your thoughts on any changes you’ve noticed across them?
The word is neuralgia. It's fantastic, I usually sit down with it either on mobile or desktop and grind until it's bland for a bit. Currently a level 109 with a balanced main, total level of 1506 and am approaching 99 strength. My screenname's McClubbin10. Look me up and give me a shout some time, given I assume you're reinstating a membership. Get you in a clan or at least a chat channel where frequent kinds of back and forth is always available.

Looking to start back up again myself but my last account was banned for botting. Any idea what total Level i should target if i decide to buy an account?

In my opinion, it's not worth it to buy an account. There is always a chance of someone recovering it and if you buy it from a known seller your probably over paying. I recently started again, took all my stats to level 70 as baseline and started questing. The game is much more fun if you do it this way, you're going to miss out on the fun and content if you buy an account.
I mean the nostalgia is there. The areas are the same, lots of the old stuff are there. The graphics, mostly everything is in the same place as it used to be back then. However, there is a lot of new stuff, new items, new quests, new places etc. Kinda kills the vibe a bit but I understand the game has to evolve even if it's based on the 07 model.
