Mobile Device Accessibility

What should I look into for having a good understanding of how mobile devices beeing compromised?

I have done a search, and these are the following points that I found:

- Android - Android mobiles are relatively accessible with RATs, but nowadays with all the security alerts and permissions they require to accept Trojans, it's not an easy task. Any recommendation?

- IOS (Apple) - IOS devices are virtually impenetrable because apps are only accessible through their own Appstore. However, there is a vulnerability and it is through the Icloud Login, allowing you to extract data. On the other hand, if there is an IOS device with Jailbreak, it allows greater accessibility, allowing Trojans to be installed.

Then a third option, I have read that there are applications for both Android and IOS that are designed for the use and protection of minors. And it is a surveillance and remote access application. This can be "easly installed" on any device. What are your thoughts?

Any alternative that I might be missing? Any contribution will be appreciated.
That's pretty much it, except that I don't think spy apps are allowed on the App Store. And Google is about to block apps targeting lower API levels from installing.
