Long Range wireless antenna

I am looking for a long range wireless antenna that works with 2.4/5 Ghz signal. The ones I've seen on amazon are either overpriced or don't work any recommendations would be appreciated.
What do you consider long range? I am currently using a simple TP Link TLWN722-N and it has a wider range than the one on my laptop. It was a bit tricky to install the driver for monitoring mode but once I did it works really well

True.
Bought a supposedly ready to plug in yagi, it was shit.

I would recommend any dish you can wire up your self. Don't forget your booster, cleaners what-ever the job might need.
But if you got interference around you, physical distance is the key
the KEY is line of sight.. this 2.4 is a line of sight frequency, and a beam will work best, NO NOT A YAGI, but a parabolic or dish is needed for this! microwave band style
choose a cpe better because yagi is copied by china or edup. if you want a powerful tool use the grid
Thanks, I will have a look for sure
