Not sure if this has been suggested, i also remember it being a thing in the past (99% sure) but there was definitely an introductory section where people would be able to post introductions

I see that they’re all being put in the lounge now

Maybe adding an introduction section for people to introduce themselves could be good for newer members / helps keep all the introductory posts in one certain area

Maybe you could do it as some sort of “goal” induced post.

Newer members could be incentivized to post in there, it could be like a “first post” on their hf quest & could potentially lead to a “noob” award.

I know many people aren’t reading the Help Docs or navigating the forums properly, so maybe if they get a notif staying they won an award for posting which could raise their curiosity with everything HF has to offer.

The “introductory” post could offer a 1 time post where you get 25 extra bytes for posting an introduce yourself thread which i’d assume will lead to the discovery/curiosity of bytes for newer members & then the award given (which could be removed after x days once you’re not a noob) which will raise curiosity for awards, etc

I don’t make sense a lot of times when ranting or suggesting so pls let me know if any of this seems confusing.
