problems installing kali wifi drivers

Hi group, i've been dealing with some problems with kali wifi drivers installations.(i have an external wifi adapter for my laptop and im running kali in a VM)

I dont really know what is the exact problem at all, i tried installing backports because in some official page it said that "compat" packet was deprecated, so when i tried this it always gave me some problem like postgresql needing to upgrade version, or some kind or erros like that, i also tried upgrading distro but didnt solve nothing, my adapter still not being detected as wifi adapter, so i cant use airmon and that stuff.

So the question at this point is : does anyone know a good tutorial or post which explains how to install kali wifi drivers by todays version ?

Thank in advance :)

If you're fully updated, you should have kernel 6.3, which fully supports that adapter. Try seeing if lsusb shows it. If not, the adapter isn't detected at all.
