My ex bf and I shared a gmail acct but he’s locked me out. I don’t care about acct but I need the emails in the sent folder for the past 2-3 years. Is there a way to get in and send those to me privately?

Nope. Gmail is really secure. They make it hard for even the original owners of an email to get into their own email. Hell I can't sign into mine without having my cell phone on hand. Recovery form is difficult also as they want IP's, creation date, past passwords.
You're best off just begging him.
