I'm bipolar, 24 Y/o and doing nothing.

I can't seem myself to be working on jobs because I get feelings of passing out or something bad happening to me at work.
right now i think hard work is the best key of success. so i suggest you to learn only your favorite skill and start earning.
It’s tricky to answer and solely depends on the medication.

I would try resort to natural remedies as those drugs tend to carry lots of side effects that slow your day down.

Hey, man, I'm sorry to hear you're struggling a little with your Bipolar and meds. I was heavily medicated for about 8 years due to my Bipolar & OCD. Going through that completely destroyed my memory. I went through 5 years of college & university before this happened, where I studied Computer Science. Piecing together all my memories of those 5 years, and I remember about 1 week's worth!

When I realised my life was quickly going nowhere at all, I chose to figure something out. Start with something you enjoy, and progress on from there. Don't worry about the things you don't remember. Soon you'll forget that you've forgotten!

Whatever you begin with, make sure you're not overloading yourself too much, but likewise, don't go easy on yourself. Give yourself small challenges each day, and when you accomplish the challenge, reward yourself. It's very easy to be too harsh on yourself when you're not feeling great.

What things interest you? - Or what things are able to keep your interests still, even when on your medication?

I just survive, I know how ! I'm a Computer Science and engineering graduate but I've forgotten most of my skills due to the medication of this illness. I don't want to waste my life and stand on my own feet without depending on family.

How should I overcome this problem of mine! I only want to explore mountains here in India and live a peaceful life.

In short, I wanna live a digital nomad life.

There are literally jobs for everyone. You sound like someone who creates problems to himself from low self esteem and laziness. Ur family need to stop breast feeding you for you to have a reason to start doing stuff.
No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.

I'm sure there are better options to ask on forums and waiting for answers from people you don't know and who cold troll you.

As bipolarity seems to be quite complicated, I'm also quite sure you have a medic that could help you with those questions. Have you ever asked him that ?

It sounds like you're going through a tough time. Dealing with bipolar disorder can be challenging, and I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to reach out to a mental health professional who can help you navigate your feelings and provide support tailored to your needs.

I wish it was that easy in the country i live in, people think bipolar disorder is a very simple mental disease but it has churned my soul. Nobody even my family understands me. I don't have any financial support from family because they are themselves not very rich so i am on my own. I still try to learn new things or stuff which can maybe help me make a living in a country where i am where getting a good job is very hard.

I have become lazy but idk if it's because i am sick or it's cause of medication or i am lazy in general. God knows what's gonna happen to me in future but i am trying my best to fight this illness, joblessness and get some skills like programming but programming ain't easy as it involves mindfulness while my mind's fucked up by meds !
How are we doing today, JNath

How's the situation over there? Have you decided to put some time on your mental health? You should be if you really are not feeling well.
It is hard to work or do something important if you're mind is not into it.
Hello there! I'm not a doctor or an expert, so please don't take my reply too seriously; it's just my perspective. I would suggest stepping out of your comfort zone. Spend time in nature alone, go hiking, walking, jogging, or camping. Explore open spaces, away from the city and people. Visit parks, lakes, and just get out of your comfort zone. Observe your thoughts, listen to calming music or chants, and learn to meditate in a way that works for you. Prioritize some time for your mental health.

Maybe consider exploring mindfulness practices, like meditation or yoga. While I can't endorse or recommend specific substances, some individuals have found benefits in such practices.

Remember, this is a process that takes time, and you're very young at 24 with plenty of time for everything. Disconnect from the internet, Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and social media when needed. Take breaks to focus on self-care and mental well-being. And maybe do a half gram of psilocybin.

GOOD LUCK! YOU GOT THIS!
Have you tried working any remote jobs from home?

I am still learning javascript and at a beginner level so i don't think anyone would provide me a job for it.

EDIT : I also don't have industry level knowledge of web development and nobody is kind enough to guide, i don't blame them because people are very busy with their own life.

It doesn't even necessarily have to be coding related. Check this video out some time!

"I get feelings of passing out" is so fucking relatable, get that same feeling a lot. I do still work a lot tho however, it's just to fight thru it.
Sounds like anxiety if anything. The way to beat it is to put yourself into uncomfortable situations and you'll realize it has always been your mind playing tricks on you.

The best advice I heard a few years ago was to "Get comfortable with being uncomfortable".
