I didn't know you could buy permanent Ub3r upgrade.

The only option I had was one year subscription.

I am trying to get a few awards:

1) I am participating in the Octoberbest 2023, currently got to 36%, It is really hard to make the 600 posts, though
= If I can get the Lounge Head award (currently at 29%), that would be amazing

2) Collecting hearts for the Quick Love award, got to 44% in about one month

3) Doing the Everyday Ninja - checking in every morning for 31 days now, just 69 more days to go

4) I Will go for the Green Apple award, hopefully getting that Q1/Q2 next year.

Back in the day, all upgrades were permanent only. Omni temporarily re-enabled the ability to buy Ub3r permanently maybe a year ago or so.

I heard from one of HF staff, that permanent ub3r may come as an option on black Friday.

I still have to fulfill the time criteria, so I hope it happens after that.

When I got permanent Ub3r you had to apply and be approved by Omni himself. If you were denied, you had to wait 6 months to apply again.

wow, I am pretty sure the thrill of being an Ub3r would have been much more than todays. Now, I believe everyone can become ub3r without prior approval.

I would want to hear it from you, what did it felt like, being an ub3r after approval?

40$ per year is a small amount you pay for what you get. The community gives you much more. Yesterday, I won a $25 contest.
More importantly, the value of what you learn outreaches the subscription you pay for.

I don't feel bad I missed this opportunity for a lifetime ub3r.

Contributions are required to keep HF alive. I will pay for the yearly subscription if I have to.
