I saw on the internet that the so-called hackers were posting on social media, hacking plans。
Aren't they afraid to expose themselves, or get caught?

I would assume they have ghost accounts with little to no posts. The ones who do brag about their crimes on social media are usually the ones who get stalked for years and eventually busted.

Depends on who the "hacker" is, from my experience theres lots of different types:

- The ghost accounts mentioned above, no posts, just lurking around. OR hackers that just dont have social media and strictly stick to a code of OPSEC, this would be true for Ransomware affiliates, operators and organized cybercrime gangs who would be looking at decades in prison if caught.
- The ones who brag about their crimes/how much money they made from doing said crimes, and yes they eventually get caught, these are usually crypto drainer guys, people who steal NFT's and shit like that, they loooove to brag.
- The ones who dont really know what they're doing but post pictures of them using common tools found in Kali Linux, you also mention they post "hacking plans" which makes me think you might have seen some of the "hackers" from Israel or Palestine that post themselves on TikTok doing DDoS attacks, or they just post cringe (prime example: https://www.tiktok.com/@ii.clappz/video/...4778615058 & https://www.tiktok.com/@yoozy_1337/video...0800004357)
- The ones who are part of the infosec/bug bounty community, like STOK for example, makes great videos on YouTube about bug bounty hunting and Vlogs his trips around the world to HackerOne events where they all hack for hours on a single target, make a bunch of money then go out for drinks, its great, and its legal, so they have nothing to hide and can post whatever they like.

So yeah, theres lots of different types of hackers. Hope this gave you an oversight

Most of the "hackers" aren't truly hackers, just some low-life skids who post some code/special command prompt font looking stuff into their code to make it look cool, but it's all a bunch of BS. Than there's who sell their hacks, so yes some hackers do have social media.

The real hackers most likely have social media but they don't post or leak any personal information relating to hacking about them.
