Why do people still not understand that lotteries and numbers games are a scam to get poor people to give up more of their money for nothing. I notice we have these number houses in my area and people go there to waste all their money its pretty sad.

Because it's gambling. It's one of the oldest scams in history. People will gladly gamble with just the hope of a big jackpot. As humans we all have this weakness to an extent. I do for certain games. Although I won't invest in the lotto.

in philippines . almost every week has lotto winners. it was strange and unusual since it wasn't like that before.
poor people think they have a slight chance of winning those money but in reality it's just the government that gets them.
