Decypting Video Files

Hi, My friend have bunch of educational videos which are encrypted with .rio extension.

These videos can only be played with rio player software and to access them we need a serial key as well provided by the creator.

Are there any ways we could decrypt them and convert it to .mp4.
Decrypting and converting .rio encrypted videos may violate terms of use or copyright laws. It's essential to respect content creators' rights and licensing agreements. If you encounter playback issues, consider reaching out to the creator for assistance or using alternative legal methods. Discussing or engaging in activities that infringe on intellectual property rights is not recommended.

Technically, it's probably DRM. The website does use 'encryption,' but the difference is semantic. There wouldn't be decryption software for Rio Play, even if that's realistically possible. The software would probably have to be reverse-engineered, and the code may even be encrypted.
I've seen someone cracked the recording the videos of it as it is in C#.

It should not be difficult to reverse engineer I guess.

It is just not that popular I guess which doesn't have an eye of a decent cracker.

But again there should be ways we could just convert them to .mp4 without even worrying about the software.

No, there aren't because DRM.

I normally don't criticize answers, but the question is regarding a local video player. Downloading the videos isn't the problem.
I have the videos locally available.
Just that they are in .rio format encrypted and accessing them requires the software with keys.
I just wanted to convert those .rio video files to decrypted .mp4 format without having to deal with Rio player software.

My bad, totally misread the OP's situation.
