BTC Predictions?

Hi everyone i'm holding some btc at the moment, wondering what everyone's opinions are on what the price will be in 5 to 10 years time. Currently up 2-3 thousand. Do you think the market for crypto (specifically btc) will expand in the future or do you think it will end up being hammered by government regulations which will reduce incentive to use crypto. If you don't think btc is the way forward are there any other coins which you think could gain popularity in future? I'm not expert in the field of crypto I simply hold an amount to where if it all goes to shit it's not the end of the world for me so would like to hear everyone elses opinions on the matter.
Indeed. It's going to go up in 5-10 years. Just HODL.

for more coins. I suggest try checking coinmarketcap.com and working your way to the top 10 coins if you don't want to go with a particular one.

I can get behind the TA of a pump, or a dump. The trends support a test of a high, but we did just try that and dropped back down so either we re-test, or we see how strong our bottom supports are.

I would not be surprised at all to see a test at the 37-39k range, or even around 30-33k. If those fail, easily see it slipping to re-test the 20-30k range, and obviously if that fails we retest that 16kish area. Now, if we don't fail a re-test on that 37-39, we could easily see a bump back to the 43-46k range with another push to break into 50-60.

The problem is that it's a bit of a gamble to say either way, so I'm neither buying in bulk or selling in bulk, just continuing my DCA.

Although it does look like a pump is imminent, and ETF & increased adoption of crypto will help, there is plenty of data to suggest we could just as easily enter another crypto winter. If you compare current pricing to past trends, you can easily make the case that we've just lost an opportunity to reach new ATH and we could see some crab lines between the 32-50k range or the 16-32k area for months at a time as we trend downwards. With crabbing it's tough because it could be spiking up & down in higher numbers for months before going back down, and at any of those points it could break into a new ATH or crash.

The point of my post here is not to convince you either way - just to make you aware.
if you google Bitcoin Rainbow u will see that it is very possible to reach 200k this year per coin

Yeah markets seem particularly volatile at the moment however it doesn't bother me much when it goes down as I'm looking to hold long term any drops in price to me is just the opportunity to buy in at a cheaper price. I see btc predictions for 2030 saying the price could be as high as $100,000+ do you think this is unrealistic or do you think it has the potential to actually reach that high?

Yes, I do think it'll hit 100k, and I can see it hitting 250-500k one day too. With halvings, global adoption, etc, absolutely.
Only a small % of the world uses crypto, and an even smaller % uses it for normal transactions. Once that % is higher, I would expect bigger market volume / value.

I think that is a hopeful estimate, happy days though if it does reach that at any point in time regardless of whether its in next year or in 5 years, at 200,000 a coin I'd be up 6x my initial investments.

I have my btc stored on a few different platforms some of these holdings are on platforms where you can also exchange stocks and shares, you can buy and trade crypto however you don't actually get assigned an address, will my crypto holdings be okay on there for years to come or is there the potential for these apps to remove their crypto trading functionality in future years. The trading platform is etoro it is a trusted platform for trading however its more so made for stocks and shares, indices, commodities, etc.

I also have a crypto.com account and a wallet on my pc. Are these platforms for trading okay or do you think I should move all holdings over to the wallet on my PC. it's only for convenience I have the other apps as I'm able to check them on my phone.
Will raise for sure but not soo much , so dont hope it will jumb double for example
Limited offer

Signature space ... 1k bytes per week
We are approaching the halving event that will decrease supply. Everyone thinks we're in for another bull run this year
XMR will take over BTC.
