Exclusive: Tucker Carlson Interviews Vladimir Putin

Personally, I was looking forward to this interview but Tucker doesn't have the brain power required to interview an intellectual like Putin. He's good at reading monologues written by others and not much else. Throughout the interview, Tucker had this dumb look on his face as if the lights were on but nobody was home. Personally, I think Megyn Kelly did a better job. Anyways, its still worth a watch:

I think the reason Tucker had the dumb look and as if he was confused a little was because he was listening to Putin and then having to listen to someone in his ear translating it at the same time. I don't think it was a bad interview and Putin wouldn't let him ask question like an interview more of a general conversation is how he controlled it. I feel like you gotta respect Tucker being the only media person to go over there and interview him. Sure it could've been better I'll give you that though.

You stole the words right out of my mouth. I don't like Tucker, but I do respect him. Not sure why people were/are so hyped about this interview, there are already thousands of hours of Putin interviews to listen to for anyone interested, and his position on a range of issues are the most transparent of any major world leader.

Yeah, you make a good point. I just hoped he was asked tougher questions like why is it taking Russia so long to achieve whatever their mission is in Ukraine and the alleged casualties they're taking.

The point of this interview is to bring the other side of the story to the average American who won't search for those Putin interviews. I believe Tucker was a good person to achieve this, despite my personal opinion of him

I understand and agree Tucker's one of the few people who could accomplish that, I just don't see this interview in particular and the topics discussed change much for the average Joe. I've seen quite a few positive reactions, but only from people who were already there so to say. I'd like to be wrong though

I didn't really learn much from this interview. It seems to be a repeat of Russia talking points.

Not sure how I feel about him saying Hitler was forced to invade Poland. Sounds like a spin on history to support current operations in Ukraine.

The man went on a half hour monologue about Russian history alone and spent the rest of the 2 hours explaining the Russian perspective, the causes for the war, his willingness to negotiate and the West's refusal to do so.

And you didn't learn anything? Do you have a learning disability?

If you couldn't comprehend what he was saying it's more a negative reflection on you than the interview.

I guess we each took different things from the interview. Glad we both live in a part of the world where we're allowed to have different opinions.

Actually you're NOT allowed to have the "wrong opinions", in the West without severe consequences. People like you just don't fucking notice.

I think Tucker refrained from asking tougher questions that he should have asked as he was probably scared he would get polonium tea for breakfast if he did, and that Putin himself just deflected a lot. Mediocre interview at best. Want to watch a real interview with an ex-KGB agent? Go watch Yuri Bezmenov's interview. That will open your eyes.

Russia achieved their goal in the first few months. They don't want Kiev. They wanted a gateway to Crimea. The lines haven't changed forever for a reason. Because Russia doesn't advance. Maybe go analyse the war maps yourself instead of taking information from CNN.

I saw clips of the interview. Far as I know it doesn't have anything I don't already know. The reason it gets media attention though is simply because of Tucker. I think that's a good thing. From clips I saw seems like Putin is level-headed and willing to end the war or at least go into talks. Meanwhile we all know Ukraine refuses because of Biden and the War Machine controlling the timeline.

Russia has the entire Eastern are of Ukraine all the way to Crimea. Game over.

Also, my last take on this. I don't think Tucker was there to challenge Putin. He was there to give Putin a voice to an American audience that hasn't really heard Putin in at least two years. Yes, Putin does lots of interviews, but all are in Russian and at least with Tucker half of it was English. That makes a difference to the audience of idiots we have here.

Yeah Tucker was kinda pushing back with the typical, retarded, American comebacks. Probably to just not look to liberal/moderates that he was there to give Putin a platform, which is what he was and SHOULD be doing. We SHOULD listen to Putin.

For example when Tucker was like more or less "how is what happened 80 years ago relevant to what happened last year" when Putin was giving his history lesson. Like are you joking Tucker? It sets the stage.

I don't think Tucker is stupid to that degree, but he was pushing back with the dumb thoughts of the average, retarded American. I think maybe that was the point, was to give Putin a chance to rebuttal the lemming thoughts of the American public.

They were gonna call him a "Russia stooge" or a "Putin puppet" either way.

I am pleasantly surprised that you have such a based take on this. Not because I didn't expect you to have a good take specifically, but because where I live it seems almost everybody is in lockstep with the current thing and what news agencies say about the current thing.

Tucker is definitely not stupid but he sure does like to play dumb. He's very likely a CIA plant, you just have to look into his background. Even Putin hinted at that during the interview but Tucker chose to completely ignore that comment.
