So when I first joined HF those many years ago, it was revolved around buying RSGP for RuneScape. A place to buy cheap Xbox membership. Maybe the odd gift card here and there. Getting a free Netflix account. Learning about bitcoin which can be used to make online purchases.

So 9 years ago, I would have been 21. Maybe have worked in my first real full time job for under a year. I would have got monthly pay and I am about 95% sure that I would have only spent about £100-£250 on bitcoins. Bearing in mind I was probably throwing £250 a month down the drain, losing whilst gambling.

Anyway.

£150 of Bitcoin back in December would have meant £27,000 today.

Oh how that money would be so useful right now. More than my annual wage!!!

The crypto market will continue in it's 4-year cycle over and over and over again. It is not going to go away. Institutions are really getting onboard this cycle. It's not too late to invest. You will be saying the same thing you're saying now 10 years down the road in 2034 if you don't buy and hodl now.

True. I’ve invested a little into crypto but don’t think it’ll X the sort of amount I would have back then.

Still worth the small investment though.
