Nicehash is being blocked by windows, anyone know fix?

Attenpte to fix thus far:
A lot of different things in CMD, specifically running the program as the 'Administrator' user.
Fresh reinstall of windows 10
Updated drivers
Completely unticked all windows virus and defender related settings
Added entire hard drive as an exclusion to windows defender

It all started when my friend tried to run the app as an admin (I cant remember why)

I have experienced this same issue when trying to pirate windows as well, however with a program that would actually be considered malicious.

To clarify, this is not malware, it is normal mining program.

When I get a chance soon I will be running the windows debloater tool to see if it can give results gutting windows further.

Any ideas, cryptobros?

Sounds like your friend did some shady shit.
The fact it's getting blocked while you are a administrator makes no sense.
See if there are other admin accounts on your PC and remove those

Even on a fresh install, using the default administrator account windows creates, there is no change. Its his own PC, i dont think he would cost himself the money of being down right now.

Are you sure you properly allowed that exe in defender?
