Hey guys, can anyone give me some advice as to why i cant get steam SSFN files (both files and config) to work to bypass steam guard to log in. I was able to do so a few months ago but now it seems i cant get it to work, Have they changed something? or is it user error on my end. Any insight would be really helpful thanks.

You need to be more specific. Those are just files. Steam can't keep you from copying files.

Not so long ago i was able to simply drop those files in steam root and either auto login or just enter the password and bypass steam guard. But it seems now it either wont recognize the files or something else. I'm attempting it a on a fresh win 11 install on a VM so don't think temp files are the issue, copied the files when all steam process's were closed and made sure the steam path is the same as from where the files were copied. More curious as to if this method still works. After logging in through ssfn files stopped working, various workarounds appeared with rolling back the Steam version, logging in through config and bigpicture, and they all no longer work either. Currently known working bypasses of steam guard are only through cookies or through steamloginsecure token.
