Hey there, My name is Evan, hope you can give this message from heart a reading chance i feel lost:
after constant doubts i finally decided to share my journey with you. growing up in Morocco wasn't easy. Money was always tight in my family of seven & a father who works in a humble construction work, life especialy was harder after my dad lost his job back in 2003 i was 10 back then. we had no power no water running through the house, I can still vividly recall studying with just candlelight for a straight year i remember the humility in asking neighbours for shower water from our neighbors.
Money was a rare thing growing up so i learned to get by myself in my teen years, i worked in construction with my father as a painter selling IPTV services..., anything to get by. Despite the constant struggle, I was determined to excel in school it was my only way out. Those long nights of parents arguing about finances and seeing my dad worry about grocery prices only fueled my determination that im gonna succeed in life. i had to make it there is no chance im gonna miss it or so i thought
Years went by, and with sheer grit, I managed to graduate from law school with honors in corporate law at 24. It should've been a moment of pure joy, but instead, it was laced with fear a fear of the unknown. job prospects in morocco were slim, very few dozens job listing for the whole country candidates by tens and sometimes hundereds of thousands making success seem like a distant dream. though i never let those thoughts consume me i had no luxury of doubts i had to make it & if someone was going to get the job listing by his effort why not me?
I applied for countless jobs, pouring over databases and thousands of legal texts for hours on end, only to face rejection after rejection. Then, finally, a glimmer of hope appeared when I aced the tests for the bar test. But that hope was shattered when I was asked for a hefty enlistement price in the tens of thousands of dollars just to secure the job I rightfully earned. that day was the worst day in my life how would someone like me afford a number like that i just had to give up
That betrayal hit hard. I felt lost and angry at myself at my country at the world for not giving me a fair fighting chance, i turned to smoking drugs as a way to cope with the pain. But I knew I couldn't stay in that dark place forever its mylife story and i should be the one deciding the ending. So, I decided to change course. I quit smoking, Started freequenting gym, and discovered a passion for computer science. that i had since college but i just left in bench because school nd work i started going through courses and i would rate my self honestly as a novice python programmer. i get the main concepts like structures data types conditional loops...etc
It's not easy admitting that u need help, i mean we as men we are WIRED to never complain always take whatever beating life has prepared for us with an open chest.
Going through all of this i realised i have something that most people dont have due to their circumstances, i have all the time in the world due to my unemployment, i have a decent computer and a solid internet service that im trying my best to keep on, BUT what im lacking is real life work experience i know nothing about corporate world as well, so maybe someone whos more fortunate than me would like to help outsource some work or an internship im willing to do it for free in exchange for getting to know how to establish myself into a whole new field & professional envirement. im not looking for Handouts or Money this was never my attention & i feel like there are many people who less unfortunate & more deserving of it
ALL IM ASKING IS A FAIR CHANCE AT THIS LIFE TO PROVE IM WHAT IM WORTH. if not a lending ear is sufficent enough thnk u for listening
