Where do SMS Services source their numbers from?

Services like https://sms-man.com/ or https://smspva.com/ (https://simsms.org/)

I understand as well that they will use 1 number to verify multiple sites to kinda double on profits of a Sim but they still must be getting thousands of numbers from somewhere. If you've ran one of these services would be interesting to know.
I am able to rent out the source to these services lol. pm me.

I'm not interested. Sorry.
Usually this is done by a large team and everyone has their own responsibilities chain starts with the fact that they are looking for active people working in cell phone stores and offer for a small amount of money to drain the base of inactive users themselves they intercept traffic with the help of sms check. Further go already redirection, when the technical moment is fulfilled, there is the business of marketing and so on in a circle.

They are hiring people in phone shops to feed out phone numbers for $0.01 a pop, huh? I don't understand where the margins are coming from here. A Russian number is literally $0.03-0.07. Even the cheapest UK Numbers are $0.15~ each. Theres no way Store Employees are selling numbers by the thousands for pennies. Especially with the risks that would have for literally no gain. I refuse to believe that.
You buy sim cards in bulk and rent them using GSM Modems
