Messing around using the "Inspect" tool

Here's a very simple step-by-step tutorial on how to use the "Inspect" tool on Google to change words and images on a screen:

Select the Element
In order to use the inspect tool, you first want to Highlight a piece of text or image that you want to modify. You can then select the element by right clicking on it with your mouse then selecting the "Inspect" tool at the very bottom. For this example im going to highlight the text "Hot Corn" and right click: Example 1.

Edit the Element
Once you've selected the element, A panel should open on the right of your screen with the text you highlighted as blue. You can edit it by typing in the new text. For this next example Im going to change the text form "Hot Corn" to "Cold Corn" (Note that some websites automatically update this panel and you may not be able to enter in any text :C): Example 2 Example 3. To select the text in the panel go ahead and double/triple-click on the highlighted text and it should turn from blue to black as you should now be able to put in text!.

Save Your Changes
Once you've made your changes, press enter and the text should go back to highlighted blue, press the "X" and the changes will be reflected on your screen!: Example 4.

What about Images?
You can do images too! First find your target image that you want to replace: Example 5. Then right click on it and it should look like this: Example 6. Now to replace it,find a image on google and open it on a new tab, then go ahead and copy the URL for it: Example 7. Now go back to the Inspect panel and find a string of text where the original image link was (for my case the original image was background-image:url[RANDOM LINK]): Example 8. Remove the Text WITHIN the brackets and Replace it with the image url that you got from google, then press enter and there you go!: Example 9. If you need to revert the changes, just use "ctrl + z" or refresh the page.

That's it! With these simple steps, you can use the "Inspect" tool on Google to change words and text on a screen. Its very useful for pranking people, or when I need to copy text that I cant normally highlight.😁
would love to check it out
