Secure Data Encryption

How can I encrypt data to ensure that it forever remains inaccessible to anyone besides me, including law enforcement, even if they physically possess the SSD it is stored on?
Use a vault and never tell anyone your password.
Maybe encrypt the vault you locked the information in.

^ Good answer, but I'm going to dumb it down a little more. GPG and LUKS are good if you use Linux, BitLocker for Windows Ultimate/Pro or Windows 11, or TrueCrypt or VeraCrypt for paid solutions. If you want an external drive, there are options with built-in encryption or that can self-destruct.
