Any fans of the original game? Are you hyped for the DLC? What are your expectations?

The DLC is coming out June 21 and first impressions so far have been positive.

I'm a big fan and can't wait to lose myself for at least a week after release.

If you've ever played any of the Dark Souls games you'll feel right at home.

The game itself is not easy, the story is vague and not always straightforward. It all comes down to taste, the ambient is dark, post-apocalyptic fantasy world with demi-gods, amazing scenery and the world-building is top tier.

If this sounds like something you'd check out then it's a MUST for you.

It was my first FromSoftware / Souls like game, when I bought it I was looking for New World or something like (an mmorpg), then I started to play and I said : Where the f*ck are the other players ??? lmao

After few hours I understood that I bought the wrong game however I really enjoyed it, I thought about playing the dark souls games but I was afraid that I could be disappointed playing dark souls after elden ring. I heard that Lies of P is a very good game as well, and Lords of the Fallen.

Regarding the DLC I'm really short in money right now, I'll probably buy it later when the price drops. I didn't finish Elden Ring tho, I fought with the cosmic like dragon the Elden Beast I guess but he killed me everytime and I stopped, I need to kill this guy before playing the DLC I guess but it's been more than 1 year last time I ran the game

I really enjoyed playing hours on Elden Ring, I just hope that the DLC will be long enough, not only few hours of game

Post apocalyptic games are the right sort of games for me. But Elden Ring looks like one of them games where its so open you can get lost doing something and get stuck on it. Which bores me very quickly. Even though theres guides everywhere now a days.

I put in a lot of hours into Elden Ring but I don't think it was as good as previous Souls games. A lot of stuff was just rehashed, too many cheap boss fights with bad mechanics and camera angles. The traveling on the horse thing was just a gimmick to compensate for the poor level design.

The easy mode in these games is the build you go with. Going with a melee build is probably the most difficult.

My expectations were high and they were still blown out of the water. Incredible DLC and that I'm having a ton of fun with.

I hope that when you get it, you have an amazing time with it too. Sucks you have to wait a bit, but it isn't going anywhere of course. If you want to play online at all, there will still be tons at that time no doubt too. If you care about spoilers at all than I'd say just be careful what all you watch, what you look up, etc haha.
