Any post has a chance to give you an egg. I think there is technically around like a 10% chance to get one per post while taking all eggs and their percentages into account, maybe a tad less. That's it. So basically just post and whenever you get an egg, you get an egg.

Posting replies would of course be more efficient. Whether posting threads or replies though, don't be spamming or posting LQ shit obviously. That's just going to get you even more warning % than you already have and in turn restricted. Also remember that it costs bytes to hatch the eggs and afterwards the creatures (HUM) from them can just be killed by other players.
