Bypassing an 403?

Hi yall,

I wanted to try to bypass an 403 site but with header ans URL dictionary attack wasn't enough to bypass it.

Has anyone an idea what can help?
I'm not an expert regarding web but usually this code is due to :
- IP addresses blocked / blacklisted (ufw, iptables, fail2ban, physical appliance, useful to prevent the access of admin page from any IP address for example)
- config file that do not allow access (.htaccess file for example)
- role based access (requires an authentication to access pages)

So the answer depends on the measures taken to prevent the web page being accessed.

And how can I detect the ways to Bypass it?

You need to gather information on the target
You can sometimes bypass authorization required to access a page that results in a 403 or even 401 error.
There is a tool that automates the testing of different payloads; the one I use is https://github.com/iamj0ker/bypass-403.
It attempts various techniques, such as editing the path if validation is performed there, injecting headers, trying SSRF, and more.

Try using this https://github.com/Dheerajmadhukar/4-ZERO-3, it works well. ✌
403 is server side, not browser side. You cannot bypass 403.
try to bypass it with http headers,
try POST, GET, PUT etc....

Does it require a login?

Yes you can.. what do you think hacks are? client side hacks are useless as it only affects your browser so no actual changes are made and a simple refresh with undo everything you have done. Hacks are primarily server side.. PHP is a server side script.. in fact i think only HTML, CSS and JS (can be both SS and CS) are client-side....
