Just wanted to get a quick feeler for the H2M mod for MW remastered that is coming out tomorrow, I'm feeling kind of neutral. I want to feel hyped for it but I think previous COD's have been a let down and maybe playing on nostalgia will get dull real quick (e.g this years release). Plus maybe because I missed the steam deal for it and now its back to full price lmao. Which I really don't feel like paying!
What's your thoughts? Are you hyped, Or is it just dead in the water?
I think it'll be big for a week maybe and it'll die down, there is a lot of hype on YouTube with a lot of big YouTubers making videos on it.
Looks neat, but sadly i don't play video games like i used to otherwise i'd give it a try, does seem to bring back the OG mw2 feel.

My thoughts exactly, I have seen a few videos on it of course. I think with Bo6 coming out this might be bad timing to release, guess we just have to wait and see

Quite crazy how many youtubers are making videos about it. This does increase the risk that Activision will C&D. Will be fun to cheat on for however long it lasts tho

Wasn't any bit surprised to see this and honestly even kind of expected it. Usually do when it comes to big mod remaster/remakes like that. It has sadly happened with multiple huge mod projects and that looked as though they would have been fucking awesome.

No way hahaha, I kinda expected it. Considering what happened with xLabs and sm2, Just thought maybe this time would be different with H2M not promoting pirating the game (xLabs done this, not sure if sm2 were doing this while still in development)
You can still play H2M. There's Justeeno H2M discord server where you can download the client and play on servers.

Yeah, just be careful of what you download. Everything on Justeeno's discord seems legit and a lot of people are going there. Haven't had time to download and figure it out yet, maybe tomorrow I'll try.

I'm still playing it. Found a youtuber that posted the files under his video along with a file with a list of populated servers. I bought CoD4 remastered on steam, downloaded it, installed H2M, refunded CoD4 on steam, got the money back, H2M still runs, profit.
