I've been so fucking frustrated with Google the past 3 weeks, I'm not joking I literally bought an iPhone and will only be using gmail/youtube from here on out as far as their products go.


I won around $200 or so in gift cards through SweepStakes websites, the redemptions are provided through a website called "PrizeOut" which delivers digital, emailed, Google Play gift cards.

Support is useless. They ask me to provide a picture of a receipt, the best I can do is the original Prizeout email I received to redeem the card. I then print out the page which has the digital code and serial and provide it, as per their instructions, and just fucking nothing. These were obtained COMPLETELY LEGALLY through a website which I can only imagine is PARTNERED with Google Play. I'm so fucking mad about it.

Anyways if anyone can find a solution, even if its some old thread where someone had the same issue and it leads to a fix for me, then $50 crypto your choice.

At this point I'm willing to even take the fucking risk of just sending the codes to someone, and trying to see if they can make an email, redeem the codes, then give me the email for $50.

Anyways. Rant over, I doubt this goes anywhere and I just got fucked. Should've got fucking eBay gift cards.

What happens when you try to redeem to gift cards on your account ? Could it be geo-restricted ? Where are you from ? Did you try with a VPN ?

Did you try to contact SweepStakes or PrizeOut support, in case they had something similar in the past with another winner ?

Contacted Prizeout, they told me to contact Google Support. I live in the US, Midwest. I have tried a VPN, a very aged account (10+ years, has my name, countless Google Payment transactions, accounts in great standing), nothing. If I had to guess, I initially tried to redeem them on a newer gmail I made, somehow they got flagged and Google Support is just so bad they're just gonna blindly close al future tickets.

I suppose I can try contacting Prizeout once more and show them that Google is refusing the giftcards, in /fact/ maybe /Prizeout/ has phone support, I guess that could be /something/ to try.

By some fucking grace of GOD. I just got on chat with support today and just went fucking ballistic lol. I started bitching about how long I've been using Google/Android, how they can go through my transactions and see how much business I've done with Google, how I just bought an iPhone last week and I'm glad I'm switching (which is actually true but I'm keepin the android), about how ridiculous it is that GOOGLE doesn't have phone support, how useless their agents are, and this agent named "Nicey" manually credited each of the cards to my account lol. Then I felt like a dickhead. I guess you gotta be an asshole to get what you want sometimes?
